This year's draft is very deep at CB

If we don't end up trading for Malcolm Butler, there are at least 13 CB's who would be worth our pick at #42 in round 2, and that's not counting Sidney Jones.
Marshon Lattimore, Marlon Humphrey, and Tre'Davious White seem like locks to go in round 1. Gareon Conley, Teez Tabor, Quincy Wilson and Kevin King are iffy for late round 1. Adoree Jackson, Jourdan Lewis, Chidobe Awuzie, Fabian Moreau, Cordrea Tankersley, and Akhello Witherspoon could all go anywhere in round 2.
Lattimore is the only CB worth the #11 pick. IMO Humphrey, White, Tabor, Conley, King, and Wilson would be good picks at #32. The rest would all be worth #42 IMO.
And of course Sidney Jones is out there if we wanted to spend a #3 on him for a RS year.
The more I look at the CB class, the more I hope we don't send #32 to the Pats for Butler, who we'd have to pay in the $13-$14 million a year range.
I'd like to see us keep our picks and do this:
#11: DE Derek Barnett or Taco Charlton, whichever one they have rated higher
#32: Best CB or S available. CB's could be Humphrey, White, Conley, Tabor, Wilson, King. S's could be Budda Baker or Obi Melifonwu.
#42: A LB like Zach Cunnignham or Jarrad Davis, or a CB or a S, whichever we didn't take at #32. Safeties like Marcus Maye, Marcus Williams, and Josh Jones should be available here. CB's could be Adoree Jackson, Jourdan Lewis, Chidobe Awuzie, Fabian Moreau, Cordrea Tankersley, and Akhello Witherspoon.
#76: Lot's of good WR's available here
#103: Two local guys, LB Duke Riley and C/G Ethan Pocic would make sense here. I could see Pocic starting for us at G next year if Strief retires and Peat moves over to RT.

I suggest double dipping at CB if Saints don't get Butler

And who will put pressure on the QB in order for said CBs to go after the ball? We could have 3 HOF CBs out there look like complete dog crap with zero pressure. We're near the bottom of the league in sacks which means we're probably not getting a lot of interceptions or pass defended plays.

I'll go ahead and say it to the surprise of many...Marlon Humphrey has bust written all over him.

Even if we do trade for him, injuries are going to happen when you're playing 5 DBs.

Marlon should've stayed at Bama another year. One of the main reasons he was pegged as a 1st rounder before the season even began was because of his measurables.
He doesn't give up that many catches but when he does it's usually a big one. PFF has said this about him in their reports many times as well

That's my guy right there. I love his game.

His measurables allow him to run with anyone. He's physical. Coverage isn't his issue from a point of running with a guy on a route tree, he just doesn't find the football and that will get him picked on

The Saints haven't drafted a legit CB since Tracy Porter

There's also Cam Sutton
I have a feeling this guy will be a solid NFL corner.
