Why did I get downvoted to hell and back? He's not a Bourbon street flaming gay, at least not in that trailer.

Ummm, have they watched Disney movies before? There have been dozens of implied gays throughout their history.

My CPA firm rented out a theater for all of the families to attend this on opening night. Reading this news has me wondering if I should still take my kids. =/

One gay character in the near-100 year history of the company's films and it's "pushed so hard"? Yer stoopid.
Scar, Ursula, Jafar, Rattigan, and Elsa all put off that vibe, among others.

Pretty good anecdotal evidence that normal people never wanted to promote homosexuality. It was forced on us.
People have accepted a lot of this now because they just want to be nice people.
I don't want anything bad to happen to gays; I just think it's dumb and harmful to promote that destructive lifestyle.

Why is the first (still think that warthog was the bear) gay character a closet homosexual? Doesn't seem like the proper message.

I think you've got a point here. All this publicity is just selling more tickets anyway.

Walt Disney is rolling over in his grave.

Unless he's making out with a dude, I doubt kids are going to know he's gay.
Then what is the point?

I doubt it could be worse than homosexual week at Disney. We were there the week before once, and there were some getting an early start.
It isn't the place for the family to be when the official event is on of that was any indication of how bad it gets.

Adds subtext for older viewers and when the viewers themselves become older. It's clear both Rattigan and Elsa are flaming homosexuals in the subtext, but kids won't pick up on that.

Because even though we may not have a problem with it, we do not want it forced on our children!

That character was pretty fruity in the original, plus Josh Gad is pretty effeminate.
