Otherwise-innocent, productive illegals aren't going anywhere.
This is a false narrative imo. Simply because someone works 8 hrs a day and pays bills etc, does not exclude them from other criminal activities. Maybe the guy who has a productive job also houses other criminal aliens, etc.
My point is that the standard has to be more than simply having a job.

Sad thing they will always have a job in agriculture or housing. Too much work available.
They could just go to a Baton Rouge neighborhood that was flooded and demand identification. If not, packed in a wagon and moved across the border. But I'm sure many of the homeowners requested records and identification of the people doing the work.

Why should Dreamers benefit from their illegal act of crossing the border on their own or the illegal act of their parents bringing them across the border?
This is a serious question.

As a practical matter, I hope the focus is on new arrivals, convicted criminals, and Muslims. The Mexican landscaper who's been here for ten years without problem, eh. Low priority. The people who were brought in illegally as kids, eh.

It doesn't matter how they are removed. I really don't care if it looks like the Bataan Death March. They need to go.
As a practical matter, though, here is what will happen: once the illegals get the message that they are not welcome and will be targeted for deportation, a large percentage will self-deport.
The woman who cleans our house twice a month (she is legal) has a nephew who went back to Colombia last month on his own rather than go through the hassle of being deported. I seriously doubt he will be the only one.
Also, we need to crack down on the businesses and individuals who are hiring these people. Once the jobs dry up, there will be a virtual stampede of people heading back to their countries of origin.

We aren't. We are going to get rid of the bad hombres, shut the door to the flow of illegals, then keep the ones with jobs and no criminal record.
Yep. And if the ones drawing welfare with no inclination to educate themselves and help pull the wagon...they will forfeit a road to Citizenship. As they should.
We are between two Eras...bridging the gap. The future societal mechanism for dispensation of basic goods and services will necessarily be Government oriented...but it NOT be implemented without QUALIFIERS which support the implied Social Contract (without which society goes to hell) and address many individual/group psychoses. "An idle mind is the devil's workshop". Simplistic...but damn true. Systematic sloth, on the backs of other people's labor, should NOT even be an option. In the future...it won't. And gladly so, will be embraced by the classes who now become indignant at even the idea.
A new America and World in the pipeline. Phoenix version, most likely.

Didn't they all walk over the boarder into the US on their own. When we begin to enforce our immigration laws, they will understand the consequence of illegally crossing the US boarder and cross back across the boarder the same fukin way they got here!
Actually, no. Most crossed the border legally, just over stayed their visas.

I have no problem with the government focusing first on convicted criminals and gang members, drug dealers as well as other criminals who are arrested but not yet convicted.
However, if the Mexican landscaper or any other illegal alien who's been here for years without problem finally gets caught for any reason even if it's not while they are breaking the law then they should also be deported.
Otherwise, they will be benefiting from their own illegal act.
That's like saying if I break into your house and steal your big screen TV but I don't do anything illegal for the next ten years then I should be able to keep your TV.

Why should kids who were brought into the USA illegally by someone else benefit from the illegal act of the person who brought them into the USA illegally?

Trebuchets are also highly effective.

Most state governments have been accessories to illegal immigration by not doing everything that they can to stop employers from hiring them. By requiring all businesses and government agencies to e-verify prior to employment, this problem could be greatly reduced. I wonder why so many states are so lax with doing this? Hmmm. Must be a reason. I wonder if they fear losing a large chunk of the workforce or maybe a backlash from employers?

Are you saying they should benefit from their own illegal act?

A good start would be to send Ice to raid any company associated with Trump.
