Not super inclined to argue against this point. However I did have a good friend turn into a complete scumbag bc of addiction. Cost me alot of money and a good friend.
I will say this is have done alot of research on it, almost all of it points to them being powerless over it. They don't think clearly when they are looking for a fix.
Im not saying I agree with it but the research says they fell into and likely didn't have a choice. There are addictive personalities and non addictive ones. I known all of you are gunna say they do have a choice and I think it's probably a mix of the two.
All of that being said, I'm out a 50" TV and anything loose of value outside my house before I pad locked the shed. Not to mention one of my best friends because of it. He is out of chances because he has burned me one too many times saying he was clean then fricking me over again, so frick him.
I think it's somewhere between them being total scumbags and getting a bad break on the genetics side.

Wow. You are a piece of shite. I used sub to help me get off other shite a few years ago and did my own super gradual taper until I was able to jump off to nothing. You are a judgemental prick

You realize there are scumbags in every walk of life right, including pharmacist. There are also good ol' folks as well in every walk.
And while you are on your soap box I'll fill you in on a secret. There is a poster around here that is a pharmacist and who was also an opiod addict at one point but was able to kick it amd still a pharmacist.
You sound like a douche. Did an ex heroin addict smash your average slam piece you have to cuddle up with tonight?

So you're not actually a pharmacist?

Is this a subtle brag "I'm a pharmacists" post?

what is Suboxone ?
Stronger form of methadone, pretty much government regulated drug that's next to impossible to come off of.

Anybody bring up kratom yet? It's less addictive, less harmful, helps with withdrawls and you don't have to deal with uppity med school dropouts when you purchase it.

Subs are fricking horrible for anyone that's actually trying to get off opiates.

As a pharmicist you are a service provider.
One in an extremely competitive field.
Just get your customers their medicine and maybe a Diet Coke.

Way to go man. I've seen drugs destroy lives first hand. Glad you could get through that.

I was first prescribed suboxone over a decade ago, I have a little experience with it.
The issue is majority of people take much larger doses than is actually needed. Doctors are over prescribing it.
The difference is you won't get the high euphoric feeling from it like you will/can from methadone.
Subs have a long half life and makes it hard so ween yourself but it's easiest if you aren't over dosing. People taking 2 8mg subutex a day could probably get away with taking a quarter of that.
