I think serious consideration needs to be given towards the possibility building the BUMP proposal with Airline. That's the easiest route to I-12 and the best way to direct traffic to the underutilized Huey Long bridge on the north side, while this new southern bridge would help cut south side traffic from I-10.

Airline is certainly due to be modernized from Florida to the i110 interchange just to improve local north / south traffic. It's already 6 lanes in some sections, but deteriorates past Florida Blvd. Too many lights. Lanes are too narrow. Subpar road conditions, crap cloverleaf interchanges, etc.
