As an aside, I don't believe in the soul. If you mean for political discourse, I agree. No one should celebrate a suicide.

I'm with you losh. It's one thing to be glad someone was deported when they didn't belong here, but celebrating someone's suicide is just terrible. I wonder how many of you praising this man's death would have stuck up for the "religious liberty" bill in GA from the other thread. Just sad really.

That's what he was saying.

I don't think it does. Everyone here is removed from actualizing this man as an individual. They jump straight to politics, as well they might. My prayers and sympathies mean nothing to this man, now.
Just another way people dehumanize themselves.

He mentioned a blight on our soul.

No, that you were irrelevant. He just worded it differently is all.

Holy frick, another opportunist.

You can't dehumanize yourself. It's impossible. You are a human. We can pretend that Schadenfreude isn't part of us, but pretending is all that it is.

Somehow you guys make this thread about me

Another opportunity to point out the hypocrisy of the "religious freedom" argument. People who praise suicides are not Christian. They are human garbage.

You don't have a christian heart if you don't at least somewhat feel bad about this. The bell tolls for you tonight, too.
It's sad sure but it's not going to change our minds about what needs to be done with illegal immigration.
The left is going to use this sad sob story to push their agenda and frick them for it and we're not going to be shedding any tears over this. Can't display weakness.

Solid work.

Can you direct me to a post on PB where you've ever actually done this?
Posted on 2/23/17 at 12:02 am to the808bass
The one you replied to. The one before that.

Some are more human than others. It's called a soul. Along the way, people have destroyed theirs until they just can't feel anymore, have empathy or appreciate what having a bit of class is like.
I was raised this way, maybe it's an old southern tradition that's faded away but I still try to have a bit of reverence for the dead and their families regardless of whether I have contact with them.
