These stocks behave closer to bonds than equities...US clearly has a lot of cash cow companies.

What do you mean cash cow companies?
I am holding ETP and especially ETE for capital growth. CTL mainly for the dividend.

Buy lvs no it's got a near 6% yield and is the biggest casino company with a long runway for growth in Asia. I also like Wynn but lvs has a much higher yield,I have both in size Wynn at $88.80 basis and lvs at $44 basis

I like LB (and had a position) before yesterday. Unfortunately.
Yes, it's retail, but close to 5% dividend right now, and Victoria's Secret isn't going anywhere.
I picked up more today at a bargain IMO. Selling is way overdone. Personally, I think they sandbagged guidance.
Also like and am in VLO

Etp is merging with sxl, with etp's shareholders getting 1.5 sxl shares after the merger.

Speaking of retail, how do you like BKE?

If a company is spinning off a fat dividend then it should indicate a shortage of investment opportunities for the company to pursue that would yield a higher return for shareholders.

How in the world did my last post get down voted? This is at the core of corporate finance.

Don't really know much about buckle. Their metrics look good from the surface, but I've never followed them. I don't really understand their brand either. From a purely "will this brand be around in a decade" perspective, I think LB is more attractive than BKE. This opinion is admittedly worthless though.
