Not the MOST disappointment but a recent one for me:
Fight Club
I finally watched it this weekend after seeing so many people praise it in this board. Damn, what a let down. The terrific acting somewhat saved a ridiculous and predictable storyline.

***Spoiler alert for any neanderthals who have not seen Fight Club***
If you seriously sat down and watched that movie for the first time with no idea what was going to happen, and halfway through thought, "Well yeah, clearly the Brad Pitt character does not actually exist and is all in Ed Norton's head," then I would like for you to tell me what numbers to pick in Powerball because the only explanation is that you are a goddamn prophet. You can say you didn't like the movie and that's cool, but predictable? Come on.
