Just lost a MUT Super Bowl in the stupidest way imaginable

Hard fought, defensive battle, score tied at 21 late in the 4th, I get a clutch interception to end his game winning drive.
I fight my way down the field to kick the game winning FG, I kick it, there's 1 second left on the clock.
So I decide to squib kick it, safest play, right? His guy gets the ball, I user hit stick, he fumbles, Tyreek Hill picks it up and runs for the game winning touchdown.
My neighbors 3 houses down could hear my Anakin impression: "NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO"

Not surprised. So much dumb shite happens on that game.
The tipped passes that hang in the air forever, kills me.

I wish I had recorded the play, I could have made a Not Top 10 plays of the Week
ETA: After he scored, the prick tried to go for 2

I literally hate Madden. It sucks

One of my league opponents has had madden screw him over three straight times we've played played. It's even better that we're division rivals and it continues to happen
Our last game last season, he's driving the field to kick a GW FG. He throws a deep corner or in route for about 15 yards, his guy tip toes the sideline and makes what looks like a catch. It would put him in FG range at about the 33. Madden rules it incomplete, he challenges it and loses the challenge. I think it was 3rd or 4th down, either way I get the stop and knee out the clock. He goes back and looks at it and it's clear as day he caught it :lmao:
TL:DR: the lions are cursed

You don't know what getting fricked over is until you play the Packers in the snow. Especially with the Saints.
Drew Brees slipped and fell down on 90% of the plays. I didn't even call running plays after the second drive because he'd stumble and then I'd have to run for my life because he didn't give the ball to the running back. It was 21-0 in the first quarter and I had -15 yards of total offense. But once Clay Matthew got injured, I could actually hit receivers on slants because I wasn't getting nailed every play.

The game knows who it wants to win. That's what I've always believed. Also, it's like being up 21 points is a DISADVANTAGE because somehow everything works perfectly for your opponent after that.

Those are opposite routes...so which one was it?

AT LEAST YOU DIDN'T BLOW A 25 POINT LEAD

Madden certainly does work to keep the game close. It makes it fun in a way because it is thrilling to have to manage the clock, but I hate games that give the losing team a ratings advantage just to make the game closer.
On a Madden-related note, does anyone else have in-game injuries? I'm playing as the Saints in my first season and I'm on week 11. I play the full game, but not a single person has ever been injured, not even for a down, ever.
I have the injury slider at 75. All of the CPU controlled teams are devastated by injuries. I have none. What setting do I need to adjust?

I had to actually lower mine. I don't get many injuries at all in game, but then I'd would SIM a week and get like 4 injuries to my starters. And all of them would be season ending.
Madden is a love-hate relationship with me.

I was playing an NFC championship game once and Madden (discussing my opponent) said "That's why they're going to the Super Bowl."

And your opponent won?

On a fluke play, too.
So obviously fixed that I replayed the game from the save point. Won it the second time.

I destroyed the guy in the game but if we want to talk about the stupidest thing ever, I have that trophy in my favor.
En route to my domination of my opponent he threw what looked to be a pick six on about his on 10 yard line. I returned it to about the 50 down the sideline and was tackled by some player and fumbled. It proceeds to go into the animation where everyone jumps on or over the ball but no one gets it. After his whole squad, literally all 11 of his players, have jumped over and missed the ball, still as the CB who fumbled I picked it up and returned it the rest of the way.
The play took like a minute off the clock

This is possibly the glitchiest Madden yet.
At least the nanos have been all but removed. They have been replaced with the gay arse swerve glitch tho
