You're right - they would crowd out the mid-sized guys (but they already have in many ways, with the whole advertising "critical mass").

He has a pretty heavy rotation of sweep - "Call me to see what your case is worth" ads - 4 profit sharing partners that are mainly in car wrecks, 1 dedicated WC attorney, 1 dedicated SS disability attorney - and I don't know how many associates, but they are probably flung all over the place and doing a range of stuff, including class action (including Tom Galligan's son).

Now Richard doesn't do any car wrecks, mind you, but the firm lives or dies by them.

i went to the class action symposium in November and that's his baby and he had all sorts of national MDL people there to talk

seemed to be held in high regard by both sides
