Dan the Man Etling. Why people are still so butthurt he took over the QB is amazing.

What people on here refuse to see is that had Les not been fired, we still blow out Missouri and Southern Miss in devastating fashion. The only difference in how the season plays out is that we beat Florida and play in the Sugar Bowl instead of the Citrus.

I'm all for replacing the coach if doing so for the sake of improvement. But changing just to change and actually possibly (probably) downgrading is not smart decision-making.

you are being factual and your premise has common sense. however, this is the rant and the 16 yr old girls are not looking for truth, they are closed minded and if you do not support their opinion they fire shots. good luck.

note: I really wanted BH to be the guy; his passes were tight spirals and he has a cannon for an arm. I wanted a Mett that could run when needed. the coaches had zero to do with his unaccuracy. imo, he was taught the correct mechanics many times, he just freaked out in the battle of the game and reverted .

While you're comparing the 2 QBs, one led his offense to score points against Bama and one didn't. One helped his team beat Florida while the other didn't. It will be an interesting spring with the QB competition for sure.

So you are for BH performance over DE? Not trying to disagree. Stats are funny. We actually had a higher scoring offense last year with BH and Cam but felt like we underperformed. I blame all the short to middle range pass incompletions for this. This year the offense seemed to click so much better with several rushing records being set. Also, this year we had a higher 3rd down percentage rate and time of possession.

Well when you see the same problems with multiple QBs over a span of 8 years who should be blamed?

What? We have had qbs under miles bavs productive seasons.

We had good qb play in 09,2011, and 2013.

Do you know what Etling's stats were for that game?

This is why I say the bias people have is unparalled

He came in after getting back ups reps all off season AND STILL LOOKED BETTER THAN THE STARTER.

Doesn't matter with anyone says we didn't prepare our QB's. We kept them on a short leash. To be honest we had a bad offensive philosophy and the play calling was terrible under Cam.

Laugh all you want but its Orgeron's fault for not getting Guice carries earlier in the season during close games. Blame Orgeron for the lack of Guice staying focused during critical moments. Right?

Bad development and coaching has been the problem at LSU while Cam And Miles were in charge

You've got to take wisconsin, Jacksonville, Ms state and auburn into acount. 16, 34, 23 and 18 points scored respectively. Ensminger topped that 34 mark in all but 2 games, Florida and alabama.

So while I'm not sure what our PPG were last year you've got to think that Os and Ensmingersee PPG would've topped it if they weren't being drug down by Miles's numbers the first four games.

Not sure what about my comment you find so hilarious.

Les owned Florida. Are you disputing that?

Do you really doubt that Les would've had at least one last trick up his sleeve to turn a close game with Florida in his favor?

Les was to Florida as Saban was to Les.

I know Jacksonville State is 1-AA, but LSU was their only regular season loss, for whatever it's worth.

Can you so kindly break down the 2nd half of the J'ville state game with that amount of detail. I would love a play-by-play. Thanks

Yes. Harris had zero confidence to start that Jacksonville St. game. He had been killed the entire week after Wisconsin, and it showed

This. The kid was destroyed at that point.

I could post a whole long thing about the Florida game from the previous season as a counterpoint on Harris.

The only thing I got out of that is Lindsey Scott is really short.

Now that's true. I've met Russell Wilson in person. Literally the same height. Wilson's hands are huge though. Most of RW's teammates dwarf him, as does LS.
