I hope Myles Brennan can come in and play like Sam Darnold his freshman year. This dude is killing it tonight.

It really amazes me how teams like USC, Ohio State, Oklahoma, Oklahoma State and a couple other teams can always find these freshman QBs who come in a play like seasoned veterans in year one. I wished just one time LSU could finally find that freshman phenom

Their freshman QBs come in and play well from the start is because they pretty much run the same offense in high school as they do at Ok St and teams like that.

Lowell and Brennan have that ability in my opinion. Darnold plays like a 4th or 5th year senior. Our Senior doesn't play like that so I hope this competition is wide open.

They also probably have ACTUAL QB Coaches. They don't hire people like Cam Cameron

What senior?
Also, the kid is a rs.

Not even Manziel, Winston, Mariota, or Darnold played as true freshman. Gotta be realistic.

Sam Darnold
Redshirted, just like Brennan will.

All I know is we will have 6 Qb's on scholly. Something has to give.

Brennan needs to get on Muscle Milk right now if he is gonna play next fall.

Your best bet is for Scott to win over the coaching staff. Brennan definitely needs a year to bulk up. Darnold is a big QB at around 6'4 220.
LSU needs a playmaker at QB.

Deshaun Watson as well.
And Shane Buschele at Texas, Francois at FSU, Josh Rosen last year at UCLA, Deshone Kizer a few years ago at ND, etc, etc. Freshmen, whether true or RS, can play well immediately.

From what I can tell, Myles Brennan has a very accurate arm and very strong arm, and is deceptively fast. Could almost be considered a dual threat, but I doubt he'll be an SEC ready quarterback until his second or third year.
All I know about Narcisse is he is tall and relatively quick, he's ranked a 4 star, but because he has been hurt the past 2 years, that's all I know. He's supposed to be good to go by the Spring. So we will see.
Some people are hinting behind the scenes that Scott is a player and will be the guy to beat out Etling next season. If so good, but I don't know. The only thing I know about him is that he had a killer senior season and that he is only 5/11, but I don't care how tall he is if he can ball.
Don't know much about Mcmillan other than he was a 3 star project that has been in the program I believe heading into his fourth year, but I haven't seen him play and from the people that I have heard from who have, they say he isn't all that good.
Etling, I suspect will be somewhat better next year. How much, it's kind of hard to gauge, and Brandon Harris I figure will continue to be Brandon Harris.

Harris was skinny as a rail his first season as well. I'm not worried about Myles Brennan. He has time to grow into his skin.
