Which is probably more of a problem for the jews claiming Jerusalem based on a book that is thousands of years old than the arabs claiming their home that was taken last week or in 1948.

Ok.. So when all the land owners from the Arab Israeli wars die there should be no issues then. How many are still alive from the 48 conflict?

This argument falls apart easily based on your own comment. If homes were "taken," and whomever has the property most recently has the "best" claim to it, then whomever has the home now has legal claim to it.
