saw the end coming and kept doing other quests to put it off
started it when it came out. got frustrated with the map covered in symbols, was getting bogged down in random crap and stopped playing while still in white orchard. started playing again but only made it half way through the baron's family quest line before moving on to something else. started playing for a third time a week or two ago and couldn't stop playing till the end a few minutes ago. such a great game. the various strategies needed to take out opponents and the quality of the side quests are really what make it GOAT material. plus sailing and horseback travel ftmfw. can't think of a better game I've ever played. it's made me not want to play other games.
looking forward to the DLC

My favorite game of all time. I haven't beaten Blood and Wine yet but the Hearts of Stone DLC is possible the greatest DLC of all time.

What ending did you get? I got the worst one, and there was definitely something in my eyes.

I got the bad ending but I don't remember it being sad

You gotta play blood and wine. They could have easily called it Witcher 4.

It's depressing as hell.

I got the Witcher ending, but I was aware that it was possible that Ciri would die. However, I didn't know about the following...
That's the kind of shite that makes me want to look up all the possibilities to avoid being miserable at the end.
On a side note, I chose Yen to be true to Geralt, but I should have been true to myself and went with Trish.

I got the worst ending too lol.
I think my favorite sidequest was the hunt in skellige.
I didn't even hesitate throwning the baby into the oven.

My post might have been confusing, but Ciri became a Witcher for me. I knew my choices could lead to her death, but I lucked out. I think it's the happiest ending for Ciri too.
Also, I agree that the DLC was great as well.

I went with Tris. She's much more enjoyable than Yen IMO.

First time I played I got Ciri as a witcher ending and Geralt being single for the rest of his life. Radovid became king of the world. I wouldn't really call it a good ending but Ciri didn't die.

Well, the possibilities for Ciri are death, becoming a witcher, or becoming empress. I just happen to believe that Ciri becoming a witcher is the ending that best suits her character/personality. But you're right that none of the endings are particularly happy.

forgot there are multiple endings
the one I got ciri stopped the white frost, geralt went to tell her dad she sacrificed herself, making me thing she was dead, then he went and met her at a tavern. guy telling the story said geralt taught her everything he knew and they went their seperate ways killing monsters. and the word of the great deeds of the ashen haired female witcher spread all over. happily ever after
when geralt walked into the tavern I thought he was going to meet yennefer. all it showed was someone under a cloak. started to think it might be ciri, but was like nah no way. MRW cloaked stranger turns around to reveal ciri...
