Can someone clarify exactly what type of offense Canada runs?

I haven't had the chance to really sit and watch the video yet, but have read some other Ranters takes on it.
I noticed an excitement in FB use and an emphasis on run.
Problem is, it sounds a lot like a power run offense to me, which has proven very difficult to run in today's SEC.
But other ranters make it sound like a modern west coast offense?
I'll get around to watching it this weekend, but I'm just so excited about the hire and want to know more about our new coach. TIA! And

This. In the presser he said that he doesn't try to fit kids into "his system". He will play a type of football that maximizes the talent he has, whatever that might be. He said it depends on what our team is good at and what the other team is trying to take away. He does believe in running the football though, he made that very clear.

And we have all kinds of talent to utilize. Expect multiple formations and shifts that will drive defenses stupid.

From what I've seen it looks like edge runs, shovel passes, and TE throws. Might not sound like the most exciting setup but if it works I won't complain. Maybe he'll adjust to what we have and change it up a bit, who knows. He said he would but I'm hesitant to believe anything about changes to offense until I see it.

This is what I was hoping. I asked it in another thread but didn't get a clear answer.
I think those are the two most important keys to success in football.
1. Establishing a solid run game.
2. Building around talent rather than forcing your scheme.
I'm excited!

The offense CEO tells him to.

Looks like it's built around run/pass option plays with at least one heavier TE/FB player on the wing. 3rd downs or long yardage, it will open up to shotgun.
I imagine it's similar what the New England Patriots would run with Jacoby Brisett. This guy is a home run hire, no doubt

Exactly why he is LSU's best choice. At this time.

That's a pretty good comparison.

He said he's good with a 10-7 game as long as he has the 10. He can score when he needs to. He just does what it takes to fricking WIN!
