I've never done it because I'm old. But it's time.

P.S. I want to put it on my phone. Android.

eh...I'm 43 and works fine for me.

download utorrent > get an invite to a good torrent site. or use one of the free ones. click on the album you want. save to file. done.

I'm sure there are multiple tutorials on youtube

I do Spotify and pay $10 a month for unlimited music. Can save to any device as well. Helps the artists.

Edit: Not trying to shame or anything, it is just so cheap.

Wear baggy pants when you go to the cd store. Jnco's are great for this.

That's what I'd do. Also, it would be wise to get a VPN server so that you can't be tracked. I got a notice from my Internet provider a while back and got shut off from the Internet until I removed the file. I download Hot Spot Shield for free and I run it before I launch utorrent. There's a bandwidth limit to the free version, but it doesn't clock out when you're connected to utorrent.

I used to steal lots of music. I still bought albums that I really liked. Since the dawn of Spotify, it's just not worth the effort. I'd rather have access to stream almost anything that I want whenever I want for $10 / month than have to waste time downloading crap to my phone, which only has a limited amount of space anyway.

Just pony up the money and make your life easy. If you have Amazon Prime, they have a free music streaming service that has a pretty good library, but not as good as Spotify.

You can also download songs or albums to listen to offline. Torrent sites are no longer worth the effort.

I'm a spotify subscriber also, but there I like some stuff that isn't on Spotify. it's usually off the grid stuff. I'm a satisfied customer though. very happy with Spotify.

OP let us know if you have any issues signing up for Spotify or figuring out how to make playlists and download songs, etc.

I listen to some obscure shite, so sometimes the albums or songs won't be available on the torrent websites. Got an Apple Music subscription a few months ago and really like it so far. Also, kickass isn't dead. They made a new one.

Google Play Music has a big library too. $10 a month but when you first sign up I think you get 30 days free.

Spotify, Apple Music, Amazon Prime, etc. all cost you a little over $100 a year for basically any song you want plus playlists, streaming stations, etc. I agree with others that say to go through the exercise of getting free music just isn't worth the hassle.
