You don't start firing your recruiting coaches and expect there not to be a fall off.
Well one of the main selling points in keeping 0 was that recruiting would not be affected at all.

It's rather easy to conclude what we've thought all along, that he's in over his head.

An out of shape dt qb with not one but two bad knees. I'm not mad at this decommitment at all. Now we can really go after Keytaon Thompson without Brennan freaking out again.

Not needed

So is his 2 knee surgeries, but we stayed true to him.

Sounds like he will be a Tiger!

Well it looked like Brennan was committed to the school regardless until they rubbed him the wrong way
Fair question though, but the timing is awful and again this is more about O's handling of being a HC and it seems like he's already making mistakes

no OC no QB coach big reason why he decommited
if not that, then why do you think it was?

When have we mismanaged the QB situation like this in the Miles era?
because Qb's have been the strength of CLM football teams? seriously? maybe it is great our new staff has had some QB's change their mind afterall

Yes blame Miles again because our recruiting class is falling apart instead of the real reason, you talking sheep.

fall the people laughing at or saying no OC or QB coach is a cop out care to explain their reasoning then?

This is why hiring a position coach with no experience outside of freaking DL coach as your head coach at a top program especially when all he proved was he could beat shite competition.

Hes in over his head. Thats whats going on with Orgeron. As a HC you have more obligations than just recruiting. He is learning that now and probably not delegating recruiting responsibilities properly. He is trying to hire an OC and not getting that taken care of either. The timing of letting Peveto go doesnt make any sense either. I understand wanting to give him time to find another job but he was under contract until March. Dont let a recruiter go without a replacement lined up. The move reeked of arrogance by Orgeron and this class is suffering.

Memphis? The frick?
I think Norvell many have recruited him when he was at Arizona St. He would absolutely kill in their offense. I would love to see us run something similar.

Right. Didn't have to decommit. Just don't sign until you see who the OC is. Then make a decision.
This may be a not-so-subtle signal to O and the remaining staff to get their shite together and make their hires before he has to make a decision as an EE. I can't blame him for not wanting to just take them at their words about a hire after the bowl season.
Kiffin finally taking a job may end up as a big plus here. O is more likely to move now with him off the board. He had better because he is taking a damn beating right now.

are you saying we never lost commits during CLM tenure?
When have we mismanaged the QB situation like this in the Miles era?
You mean besides last year when we had Patterson and Franks. But Patterson's brother (or whoever) left the staff to join Ole Miss and eventually so did Patterson? And then Franks moves on to Florida shortly thereafter? WE "settle" for Scott who didn't even have an offer until both of those de-commitments happened.
Or maybe the whole Perriloux situation and replacing him with a transfer from Harvard?
How about the Lee/Jefferson debacle of 2011?
O's handling of the situation has been absolutely terrible, but it's not like there isn't a precedent with such things recently at LSU.

No offensive coordinator=Auburn
This is why it's actually a good thing to hire a head coach who actually knows at least one side of the football.... Auburns system is the same no matter what.
