Who benefits from 9-11 and the War on Terror? Our government gets to expand power over its citizens to a degree that it never could in peace. Israel gets unfettered military funding and support and therefore has no incentive to come to a two-state solution with Palestine. Military and defense contractors here in the U.S. see record amounts of profits due to perpetual war and mass surveillance.
I believe our government, Israel and the military-industrial complex were complicit in either planning or allowing the 9-11 attacks to occur.

We funded the mujahadeen in their war against the Soviet Union. Our biggest Middle Eastern ally is Saudi Arabia, who not only provide the ideological framework for Al-Qaeda, but monetary as well. We deposed Saddam Hussein on a lie knowing that the vacuum would be filled by Sunni extremists. We deposed Ghaddafi and plunged Libya into chaos. We also want to depose Assad, who should be an ally in stopping ISIS. If you think the United States is committed to stopping Islamic terrorism, you are the stupid one. Our government wants Islamic terrorism to continue ad infinitum.

Yea, bringing in Muslim immigrants is obviously a good idea.

It's amazing how people like you can be so dismissive. Most Americans couldn't find any Middle Eastern country on a map, much less explain the complex history of our government's meddling in the region that is the reason for our current geopolitical conflicts. They blindly accept our government's statements without any criticial analysis whatsoever. Our government lied about the Spanish American War, the Vietnam War and the 2nd War in Iraq. Our media attempted to rig an election to ensure Hillary Clinton was elected. Is it too far to fathom that officials in our government were complicit in 9-11?

Yes, quite simple to pull off really, all they had to do was have explosives planted in the base of the towers, then on 9/11 they pretended like 4 planes were being hijacked when really they just rerouted them to Pennsylvania then flew 2 military jets into the World Trade Centers filled with more explosives then shot all the witnesses of flight 93 with an F15 after blowing up the Pentagon with a cruise missile. It was only the world's most intricate and flawlessly executed plan, ever, ever.

I am talking about our government knowing about an attack yet allowing it to occur because the consequences of an attack increase your power and/or the bottom line of your biggest donors and supporters. I mean Michael Scheuer, former chief of the CIA Bin Laden Unit, has repeatedly stated that we had the capability to capture Bin Laden within weeks after the Embassy bombings and the USS Cole bombing but did nothing. We spend how many hundreds of billions of dollars yearly on defense and security, but can't catch a plot by several dozen third-worlders?

Potentially ignored certain intelligence items? I could maybe buy that. Were actively in the plot? Extremely unlikely.

They almost got away with it, those sneaky buttholes

quote:Dude, it's all just coincidence that Hussein, Ghaddafi, Assad and others in the region were proceeding with the Oil Bourse that threatened our entire monetary system, and those central banks were the only ones left on the planet that weren't brought into control of the international banking cabal.

These are all mere coincidences.

Isn't it interesting that the media never, EVER talks about this?
Who are they trying to protect, and more importantly, why?

How is it you think British Muslims are able to be such overwhelmingly great discerning thinkers?
