Has anyone used Bookit.com?

Has anyone here used Bookit.com to book a trip or room? I am planning a big vacation to the Caribbean next August right now and they are offering some incredible pricing for the places we are looking to go.
I have always used either a travel agent, apple vacations or funjet but the prices on Bookit right now are very low
Anyone use it and have good or bad experiences?
TIA

Used it in Tokyo no problems.

After booking your trip you may be told that Bookit is trying to arrange your reservations at that price and they will get back with you . There are better ways to book lodging. Hotwire Priceline and VRBO are my main options.

I have used it for booking hotels. No problems.

I have used Bookit.com 3 times in the past and had major issues 2 of the 3 times.
All Bookit does is act as a middle man. The first time I arrived at the hotel, I lost the rate that Bookit had promised because of some error on their part.
The second time I had an issue was when they did not send the payment to the hotel. Had to pay for the hotel room again and it took a few weeks to get my money back from Bookit.
Safest bet is to book through hotel websites. If you can find it on orbit or wherever, you likely can find it on that specific hotel's website and there is less risk/hassle involved.
