he has also recently gone radical with his views on many things.
So, he voted for Trump, and you're going to divorce him now, huh?

uh, you'll be paying for a lawyer
Yes, I already said I was paying for a lawyer and for the divorce. i will pay for one to advise him as well. However if he wishes to contest this then it is all on him to get his own lawyer to fight it. He knows he will not win anyway and doesn't have the money for it anyway.
Any lawyer would tell him he was a fool to waste money to contest it so if he wants to waste money that way, that is all on him.

Or why are you asking? You have all the answers already. You are a lunatic.

Based on your previous threads, your life is rather chaotic.

You can contest it but after a certain amount of time, the divorce becomes final anyway.
DO NOT PAY FOR HIS LAWYER
Submit your initial separation filing asap so that any value earned by you is no longer community property

He has some very radical and hateful views about situations that are frankly delusional and paranoid.

The stealing from a disabled child was recent
I thought that was "G'pa" who didn't give the autistic kid the $50 you handed him to give to the kid.

Since free legal advice is being thrown around, can someone tell me how the courts view savings from before the marriage when a couple splits in Louisiana?
For a friend of course.

So what you're saying is that you come from a family of money(maybe old money) and he doesn't and you're trying to do what's fair without knocking his block off for the wrong he's done...
Say look. I'm married with kids, would you want to be my sugar momma..I could probably talk my wife into being ok with it..

I'd take your deal. Hopefully my wife lets my cheating slide.

You're being more than fair...wish my ex would have offered this deal. Explain to him how expensive fighting in court will be...for both of you. Good luck.

How did you title your inheritance?
Are the items you bought and received from your family tangible items?
