now don't get me wrong...there are some low life scum in this world that I would value my Dogs life over...but we have a bond...it is not thye same with a wild bird or game animal.

I don't see his point being valid at all.
You can be as outraged as anyone over the loss of human life and still be absolutely digusted with what this guy did - they're not mutually exclusive.
This is the outdoor board and thus outdoor/wildlife topics are covered. There is no sense in bringing up abortion in this thread at all and nobody has said the lives of these two birds were more valuable than human life (which is good, b/c they're not).
The outrage is the destruction and killing of a very precious and fragile piece of wildlife that a lot of time and money have been invested into. There are only so many and then they're gone forever.
