As if there is another way to sweep.
I think he's means cleanup, not as in winning every game.

folks that know the wrigleyville scene well, any bars you would suggest for this weekend? I'll be there with my dad and would prefer not to pay $250 for each of us to get into the place.
Has Cubs in username, never been to Wrigleyville.

If Klubers pitches 3 games they are already 3-0 in this series if last night is any indication of the Cubs ability to score against him and Miller.

Old Crow Smokehouse
Lots of space, a lot of TVs, has a rooftop bar w view of the stadium. The key to going to any of the places in Wrigleyville will be getting in there before the covers. They are all out to make money. Make plans to chill there all day, eat, drink etc

Kershaw game 2
That was a fluke game for Clayton. He's trash in the playoffs.

Sports corner and Murphys are fun, luckys/cheesys are amazing eats. However, anywhere you go in the immediate wrigley area you'll have trouble getting into unless you get there 5-7 hours before the game. I'd suggest go off a few blocks early and you'll find a nice bar to sit at with a decent amount of space a couple of hours before the game. If you drink while you walk make sure to bring a cup and you won't get hassled by the cops most likely

I am a bit nervous about tonight. The bats need to wake up. Can we get that chicken guy from major league to help with bats????

Except Klubers has been sick every start and will almost certainly continue to be. The Cubs arent consistent enough to likely win a game he starts.

Jesus Christ. I've been to wrigley on 3 occasions (2 of those times I wasn't old enough to get into a bar). Also, every time I go to wrigleyville I'm going to the game. Stop trying so damn hard to find bandwagoners.

You should try to be more aware of your surroundings in case one of your fellow fans asks for advice next time

I wonder if a team has ever been shut out 3 time in the playoffs and won it all

FYI pregame is on now on FS1 since everything moved up an hour due to the rain.

Avoid the main Clark strip from newport to Addison. Go to the bars near newport and sheffield, up sheffield (Dark horse, etc), or those on clark north of addison.
though I have no idea if you'll even be able to get into those. If you swing and miss on those, head to southport.

Not gonna happen. They'll be all reservations and huge table minimums. Getting their early in the day isn't gonna work.
As I was saying...Game 3 - includes 2 hours of drinks, appetizer, and entree. no guaranteed seat. $225.
