Exactly. I'm 35 years old and have never needed my seatbelt. I've never been in a wreck other than a minor fender bender at slow speed. But I still put it on every single time.

And sort of on topic, I think cigarette smoking does far worse to your overall health than just your heart and lungs. I can always tell a smoker by their skin and hair. I don't think chew or dip, or cigars for that matter, affect your overall health as much. We all know people who have done that for long periods with no ill effects.

Smoking certainly ages you quickly, especially if you are a woman. Show me a woman still attractive in her late 40s/early 50s....no way she smokes on a regular basis.
