Archer c7 stops working

For the past several days around mid afternoon my tp-link Archer c7 stops working. The network still shows up, but once connected I can not go to any websites. I also have a Roku connected directly to the Ethernet port and it doesnt work either. I have to go unplug the router, wait several seconds and plug it back in. This corrects the issue.
Any ideas on what the issue could be or ways to improve the performance of this router?

I have the C9. Serendipitously went out a few weeks back; I think it was a lightning strike that fried the LAN port.
Anyway, does your modem see your router? Have you logged into the UI through 192.168.0.1 to see what's up?

I updated the firmware a few months ago, and ever since then I have been unable to login to the UI with the admin username and password

Do a hard reset to redo the password
