What is the cut off line? Many times one who is being real gets labeled as negative. Maybe constantly repeating your stance is considered being negative?

Many realists get the false label of trolling. Sucks.

The line is two standard deviations from TigerBait2008.

For a woman, if it's you disagree with her. Then you're negative.

Do not tell it is on the rant. If you don't have favorable things to say you are negative

Being negative or positive doesn't have to do with being a realist. You can be a realist and have a negative or positive disposition. Most people perfect the facts in their negative or positive light.

Cut off line is how you go about saying it.
Nobody gives a shite about your opinion unless they ask.

Reality is always negative, so it's really both. Most just consider it being a grownup.

can someone explain "keepin' it real" and its bearing, if any, on being a realist? does it even matter how long you kept it real?

Think the saying goes realists are, philosophically speaking, pessimists because reality is a bit of a downer.
