He's been through 3 camps, two SEC seasons, and multiple Kickoff and Bowls games. Not too mention he's been in the 'system' -regardless of how shitty it may be- for all that time as well.

How long we supposed to wait for the 'darn goodness' to happen?

Harris is an inconsistent, average passer. If you get him in rhythm, he can have hot streaks. We have to have a strong run game to help him...that's why it's so critical for the O-line to get back to old form.

I think we are getting his best and he may have peeked. Unstable offensive line that can't protect him. WR that drop catchable passes. Defensive alignment that he should be able to audible out of to a more productive play that will produce positive yardage. Saturday game against Wisconsin exposed a lot. The coaching staff was not prepared, the offensive line can't recognize stunts or blitzing and fail to protect the QB. Skill position players such QB, RB and WR should have been able to audible to a hot route or safe route when they recognize certain defensive schemes. Offense is just bad however the defense made some nice adjustments and limited Wisconsin running game. What was the deal with Toliver falling or slipping so much on the field. I am sure the equipment team told everyone what spikes were needed for that turf/grass.

I think he could be a very good college QB in the right system. I disagree with the amount of hate he receives.. but it's whatever. If it was any of the successful young QBs from week one they would look the same under this staff and HC as well.. but it's whatever..

So, I believe he could be a good QB in college.. but since he's under Les.. I don't believe he will ever get that chance.

When he does have time to throw, he still sucks.

Some of you have no ability to be objective about Harris. There are countless gifs showing his performance was solid, yet you and bencoleman can't say a good word about the kid. I'm not sure why you seem to take it so personal.
Even his biggest defender admits he had 5 bad throws last weekend. Most objective people count 6 or 7. That doesn't include the interception at the half. That would be 5-7 bad throws in 20, and only one or two of his passes in total had any difficulty.

I am sorry, but I have never seen a QB with that many bad throws on easy passes make it through a game before.

Ding, ding! But Miles said he knows what his mistakes were and he is striving to correct those mistakes and get better! If I hear Miles say that about him one more freaking time I swear!

If anyone took the time to watch the replay of all of his throws from Saturday, I think most will agree that he didn't have a bad game and he surely has the tools to be successful.

The O-line and the Wr's let him down immensely.

His worst throw happened to be the game ender which is fresh on everyone's mind, but even that one was mainly due to the O-line letting a rusher come completely untouched.

Watch hall of fame QB's who have no protection. They look very pedestrian.

I agree.

He's young, he's just a junior.

Boy, just wait till next year when he's a senior!

He's going to light it up!

I agree with you to a point. I think the possibility is there for him to become a good QB, but not with our current head coach our offensive coordinator.

It's very apparent at this point that Miles is still living in the 1970's and is not capable of devising a modern day offense that works in the here and now.

The most frustrating part about it is that Miles is too damn stubborn to ever even bother to try to make a genuine change in our offense.

maybe he can. but with 4 seconds on the game clock that just doesn't work. the coaching staff is hindering him, not helping him with their indecisi vness.

yea right. those RB's and WR's should have audibled.

I think MOST people would agree. that is, most people that are objective and not closed minded. the deal is that many people on here are NOT objective and ARE closed minded. they only respond favorably to posts that AGREE with them and refuse to consider another concept because it doesn't support their pre conceived (or conceived from ignorance) notions. sadly, this kind of person also has the right to vote, which explains the candidates we have to choose from.

thank goodness there are some fair and objective posters on here.

agree or disagree, i'm fine with that; but this name calling and immature blathering gets old.
