Sounds heavy, unreliable, expensive, with a terrible trigger ( or two ) and likely ugly as hell.

It is made by a company that is an offshoot of CSMC. They make as good of shotguns that you can find anywhere in the world. My understanding is they are heavy, but everything else works as advertised.

Do they make a sweet 16?

Best price I've seen for the DP 12 is around $1250. I've also looked at the Russian VEPR Tactical single shot 12 gage. Can get the VEPR for around $800, but the DP 12 holds 16 rounds compared 5+1 factory mag on the VEPR. I'm sure either one would kick arse, but that DP 12 is keeping my attention.

I think 16 rounds of buckshot weighs as much as my whole shotgun.
If it's a well made, well built piece of equipment, it'll probably be pretty cool.

Go with the vepr. Seriously.
With some cleaning and a little polishing they are extraordinarily bad arse.
Full of slugs, they are a true vehicle stopper.

Larmy Vickers has a review of one on youtube. It's pretty thorough.
Thanks, I enjoyed the video.

They're pretty slick but something about a bull pup configuration shotgun makes me very nervous.

Get a Saiga 12 instead
Such a shame Obama halted their importation. Those saigas are a beast.

This it?
Yeah, that's it. There are some pretty good YouTube videos on it. The 16 shots is what seperate it from some of the others IMO. All the reviews say it's on the heavy side, but is simple to operate. It's basically fire 2 shots, pump, fire 2 shots, and keep repeating. I've already bought 4 new guns this year. I'll have to wait until this Spring before I buy another or the wife will have me sleeping outside with the dog.

Definitely need a hand stop on a bullpup pump shot gun, unless you want the nickname "9 fingers"
