Because it doesn't fit their agenda. Cops, emus, and other emergency personnel are helping people not shooting them. There is no looting order rioting.

They didn't show any love to Shreveport and Monroe when they flooded a few months back.
Scruffy bets you get all pissy if your Facebook post isn't "liked".

I don't watch the news -- is David Phung getting national coverage?
Posted on 8/14/16 at 3:39 pm to BayouRat15
This has nothing to do with BLM, so the national news doesn't care

Well, considering many people travel all over the state every day, I'd hope all Louisiana local media would inform their viewers of a catostrophic flood event around one of the major cities. Seems irresponsible not to.

You should go burn down a CVS
Posted on 8/14/16 at 3:43 pm to BayouRat15
How will this change anything?

Yeah, my bad. I thought I was in a different conversation. I don't give a shite about national coverage either.

New Orleans media is on the story pretty well. Not enough photos/videos yet. Still, WWL is sending out news alerts to those with their app pretty regularly.

I don't even have a Facebook Scruffy
I was just pointing out that the national media doesn't cover floods like they do other things.

Fox had a great deal of coverage including a reporter in a boat. Plus they were showing additional footage from local CBS station. So at least Fox and CBS are reporting on it.

Be proud of the resiliency being shown by the people.

You shouldn't need the media to validate the existence of some local event.

Couple brothas taking the spotlight by burning down their own city in Milwaukee. Man made disaster takes precedence over natural disaster which affects so many more people.
