That intake looks a good bit different than the one that's on there now? Will it affect the throttle body and all the electronic idler BS they put on them?

not at all. I ran this setup on a 95 Mustang GT for a long time. It was great.

Mounted to a 351 Windsor in a Mustang.

Stick to OEM parts for this unless you want to spend a lot more money. Ford GT40 heads will bolt on without needing new or modified pistons and will work just fine with a B303. Spending extra money for TW isn't going to gain you anything, the B303 doesn't have the lift to take advantage of them anyway. Remember, this is a truck not a Mustang and you want more low end. Also, you have a 351W which requires adapters to run 5.0L lowers. The GT40 parts work well because the upper and lower intakes are longer runners than the stock 5.0. Aftermarket 5.0 intakes tend to shorten the runners while opening up the ports, great for top end HP but not so much low end torque. The 5.0 Explorers used cast-type GT40's vs the Lightning tubular style, heavier but still the same port/runner configuration so it's only a matter of finding the 351W lower. Look around for anyone selling the 351W RF-F2TE intake assembly too.
