SNL just needs to pull the plug. Going back to the end of the very original cast leaving, there had always been ebb and flow and return to greatness with new stars and/or Michael's return, but they've not refound themselves like they eventually did in the 1990s and 2000s with a good season or two..Lorne's a burnout..cast isn't superstar funny.

The 2010s have mostly s@cked sans some great hosts, skits, or very rare wall-to-wall great episodes.

Outside of a Kendrick Lamar, Courtney Barnett, Arcade Fire,etc..appearance..I don't tune in..especially in the Fall with Football games still going on. Just rewatch a hyped skit next day online.

I don't watch, but I decided to take a look at it, and their last consistent run seemed to be from 2005-2008 (meaning they didn't add any new cast in this period). Andy Samberg, Kristen Wiig, Bill Hader, and Jason Sudekis all joined in 2005, and no one since has really broken out like they have.

Sudekis, Sandberg,Hader and Wiig are some of the best ever.

Amersian was pretty talented too.

They've said that since the fricking 70's and it has survived. If you don't like it, don't watch. But don't bitch about it if you stop.
