animaniacs
I played the ever living shite out of that game.
1. it's an awesome platformer
2. the style is spot on
3. it's a love letter to 80s cinema
4. it was challenging in spots (Indiana jones mine cart with Dracula and broom surfing on the fantasy set)

I also played a ton of super smash TV, but I feel like that was a more popular game

Aerobiz was the first "tycoon" type game I remember.

Uniracers
Came here to post this. I can remember my parents taking me to the local video store Fridays after school to rent a game for the weekend. I put in way too many hours on Uniracers. Some other games I loved were
D-Force
Battle Clash (Super Scope game)
Tiny Toon Adventures: Buster Busts Loose

not to hijack, but this makes me sad sometimes that my son and daughter will never get to experience this along with the satisfaction of waiting for a certain song on the radio to come on. I know having everything available at any moment is awesome, but there was something so awesome and rewarding about that game you really wanted to play being there at the video store on Friday night. /nostalgic moment over/

I think I'm the only person who loved this game but...

Oh wow. I had forgotten about that game. My cousin had that one. Another one of my favorites

Totally underrated and was the genesis for much of today's Bejewled/Clone market.

Had fun playing Sim Ant. Making the red ants my bitch and taking over the guy's yard and house

NBA Jam with the four player adapter was pretty fun.
Mortal Kombat II was probably my fav though.

yeah, that is something that is gone forever, but what can never be recreated is that you didn't walkthroughs online...secrets, tips and tricks were word of mouth on the school playground, playing with friends who've already found something, or a copy of Nintendo power.
that was all you had.
