All-SEC Media Selections Released; Fournette NOT Unanimous
Posted on 7/15/16 at 2:56 pm

LSU had the second most players, 10, behind Alabama's 12.
My question is...how in the hell was Fournette not a unanimous pick for 1st-Team RB?

I'm curious who the two guys that didn't vote for LF were.

I think guice is better than Hurd...and dural should've been on there.

Each member of the media votes for two running backs as part of their first-team ballot. Chubb was the other consensus first-team running back listed alongside Fournette. That means that two voters thought that Fournette was, at best, the third-best running back in the SEC.

three teams seems obsessive

Even though he barely made the 2nd team All-SEC, I have expect that Godchaux will be 1st team by the end of the season.

There are talented players at every position, but there have been zero running backs in the SEC Within hailing distance of Fournette in at least five years. I think you have to go back to Bo.

Two people out of 331 think both Chubb and Hurd are better. Big deal.

I can see why they picked Kirk as the #1 A&M WR, but Seals-Jones over Reynolds, who didn't make the cut? Personally, if I was a pro scout, I'd take him over both of the others.
And Hurd might not be the best RB on Tennessee's team, much less the SEC.

I'm not too familiar with the other DB's, besides TDW, but how is Jamal Adams not a first team safety selection? The kids a projected 1st round pick.

There's always a rim job or two who think they are smarter than everyone else. One is probably named Barrett and the other is Salee
