God, him and Tom Wort (who had a much more successful college career at least) were two of my favorite highlight reels growing up. Those two just demolished kids.

You really never know with instinctive hard hitting HS LBs. Sometimes, for whatever reason, those instincts at the HS level don't translate to the college level. My Louisiana version is West Jeff's Chris Cooper who played there in the late 90s. Best HS LB I have ever seen, he ended up transferring to Southern from LSU when he couldn't make an impact, and I am not sure he even did anything noteworthy on the field at Southern.

I'm usually not a fan of offering these players with low/no stars, but that guy looks like a beast--always made sure that whatever angle he hit the ball carrier, the dude went backward from the line of scrimmage instead of just knocking him down. Want.

Well, i hear these camps aren't cheap and if you add travel and lodging for folks from GA, that's asking a lot from a family unless they're fairly well off financially.

crazy how much the identity of our defense is changing. We are going from having 230 pound DE and 210 pound LB to 280+ pound DE and 230+ pound LB.

That's always been my concern...it's just so much of a change...

Chris Cooper was a beast in HS and at LSU. just tore up both knees on separate occasions and got passed on the depth chart by two guys named Bradie James and Trev Faulk when they came on the scene in 1999. which is why he transferred to SU where I'm pretty sure he was All SWAC. I also wanna say he spent some time with the Lions organization. But my memory isn't that good.

Tim Pope's HS film was also very nasty. LB out of Florida signed by Saban at LSU. couldn't stay out of trouble though. complete nutjob from by all accounts.

I'll take it the opposite way. Under the radar in high school and makes a big impact at LSU.
