I mean, that's the real obvious point regarding the trio (Martes, Musgrove and Paulino). We are probably going to be able to trade one of them (and potentially package him with Fiers) to help get a good starter who has top of the rotation talent/potential.
One would think Paulino and Fiers would go a long way to getting Pomeranz, for example. I personally prefer him to the Rays arms not named Archer.

I go back and forth on Pomeranz vs Odorizzi. Odorizzi has a better track record of durability while Pomeranz has never thrown over 100 innings until this year.
I like Pomeranz's potential as a pitcher more though I think. Odorizzi is kind of a standard mid rotation type while Pomeranz seems to be figuring it out and tapping into his potential
There was a good Matt Moore article on Fangraphs today but we need someone more reliable and consistent. I think he's a great option for a team that needs back end rotation help

Springer is still 2nd to Saunders. Apparently George has the most votes via texts though. Everyone fire off a few more votes when you can.

Might need to put out an amber alert for Danny Worth. That or replace him.

Martes on the bump for the Hooks tonight. Hopefully he'll continue pitching well

Ole Kolby got himself benched after last night's shite show.

He should never start versus a lefty.

I'm too lazy to look it up, but what are his splits?

In a perfect world we would get a RH OF to platoon with him at the deadline but I dunno if that's in the cards
