One of TD's rocket guys was saying he hasn't been the same after a nerve injury, but I always liked his skill set. Don't need injured guys though.

They are still working hard to move Tyreke. Galloway is willing to be patient. Might be a couple days before he officially signs. If they can't make a trade, they just need to decline Douglas option by the 12th. That gives them a bit of a window to explore other roads, see if they like some SL guys, etc
There are several ways they can make this deal work, but the good news is that they dont have to rush. They got a few days if they want it

Assuming they will be able to just fit Galloway waiving Babbit and Douglas and then filling out the rest with mins and RLE if need be?

Crewz,
I posted this in the other thread, but I'll do it here too...don't you think it would make more sense, considering the other options out there, to take on Tyreke for the year rather than try to match the offer on Tyler Johnson? It would guarantee them cap space next season.

I think a Tyreke for McRoberts trade makes a ton of sense for both teams. Heat get a guard to bridge the gap and stay flexible next year. Pels get a backup 4 that is a great passer and good shooters, which is ideal for Gentry. Plus, they get more cap space to sign Galloway and keep Frazier on the books
I would do that in a millisecond

Yeah was thinking that too...for either team it's "another man's trash is another man's treasure" - odds?

They have had convos with the Heat and Nets. All I know so far

Not that I believe it really by that Sports Whispers Twitter account did just post that the Heat will turn their attention to Tyreke and Rudy Gay in trade talks...so we'll see

Definitely, if it means dumping Tyreke and getting about 5 mil more in cap space.

Maybe if we threw in a first round pick
Posted on 7/6/16 at 10:53 pm to BSB1988
lol no. They wouldn't do that.

Can't seen Sean marks trying to acquire Evans
Mcroberts would be a great addition though

Was one of the top shooters in the league first month of the year. As long as he's around 37-38% minimum from 3 I'm good.

Babbitt is a worthless player. He adds no more depth than the average d league player.

The best part of this deal, that I haven't seen brought up here, is that even if Galloway opts out of his contract after the first season he is still a restricted free agent. We wouldn't have his full Bird Rights, but he have a relatively small cap hold.
