Of course he can do whats ever best for him. People get salty about it because we want our superstars to be alpha dogs who lead a team not guys who run to one of the greatest teams ever to chase a ring at such a young age. I figured this decision was going to be about three things. Loyalty to OKC which is strong but doesn't really mean much. Creating a legacy in Boston. He would have been a god there if he could have taken them to multiple titles. Or championships in GS.

GS is probably the surest bet so I guess that's what he valued more. Just makes him look like a follower and not a leader to a lot of people. People love leaders. They don't love followers. Especially in sports.

isn't winning supposed to be the goal?

i just don't get this. we don't know how things will shake out in GS

and this is coming from the original "KD hides in the playoffs" guy

the "leader" of that team is draymond green
