Getting Out of a Lease ?

My son was pressured into resigning his lease at one of the apartment complexes around LSU for the next school year. He found a place that is cheaper and a better situation for him. Is there any ways to possibly get out of the lease?

Your son sounds like a beta bitch.

How is a grown man pressured to sign a lease?

Why not ask the leasing office instead of here?

usually its a month's rent and loss of deposit to break the lease at a large complex.

You don't have a son. You have a daughter.

It may be more than that. Like way more.
Like 80% of monthly rent until they can find a new tenant.

burn down the complex.
if its not there he can't be forced to pay for lease

Don't pay any more rent. Very unlikely they will take him to court.

He can for at least half of the full lease. Or he can try to sub-lease the unit.

There is probably some sort of buy out. But your son fricked up.

Um, read the lease and see what it says about early termination?
