Like others have said, K&M. Brought my truck there last year for the first time, and haven't gone or won't go anywhere else since. Real good people

A-Car up near Airline/Choctaw. Honest, priced well.

Sherwood Care Care. Had them for the 18 years we lived in Baton Rouge. Never a complaint.

Agco Automotive on Coursey
That's where I take my car because its close to work and this board recommended it.
My only issue is they are always booked. Every time I call its at least a week before they can see my car. But, I guess if they are always booked it means they are good.

C&R on Burbank is excellent. I've had 3 different vehicles, both import and domestic, repaired without any problems.

Great thread! Pretty sure we've all experienced the bad before the good.

Airline Auto Center. I have been going to Loc for over 15 years.

Agco is way too expensive. Agco may have the radio show & reputation, but Jason at K & M is better.
I've heard good things about Tony Lee, but I've never used him.
Benny's Auto on Mammoth is where I'd take my vehicle if he were closer to me.

The owner Mark is unbelievably honest. We have been taking cars to him for over 20 years and have never had a negative experience.

Most of the shops people have listed for you prepare for a two week turn around at least. Several of the places listed have the highest labor rates in town. I tell you this because I have my own automotive shop but I dont do complete auto care. I do not care to promote my business on here either. Saying this, Just do your homework. Labor rate over 80 an hour is a rip off. The parts you pay for are marked up at least 50%. Don't believe me see what you need then call a parts place and ask them for a price on it. Ill probably get hate for this but whatever, Im not here to please the trolls.

I don't know if he's the owner but Jason has been fixing my vechicles since I was in high school. Prices are always very reasonable. Service is always fast. Good people at both their locations

K&M is #1 in my book, Agco is very good but $$$.
If you are a little mechanically inclined you should try to recharge your a/c with a can of refrigerant, oil, and sealant all in one unit. It comes with a hose with gauge.
