Reviews/Experiences with Maaco paint jobs

Have an '01 Impala that the original paint job is finally peeling and oxidation is starting. I basically only use it to commute to and from work, so not looking for anything fancy just to spruce it up a bit. I imagine it's a get what you pay for type of thing so wouldn't expect much from a basic $300 paint job that they advertise. Saw online where a decent paint job from them averages $500-$700. Any feedback is much appreciated! TIA!!

Had them paint a Mustang GT back in the day. Did fine for what it was but I remember they charged extra for every option (painting doorjambs, tape, etc.).

They're shiiiiiiiiiiiit. You get what you pay for.
If you want a cheap spray for a knockaround ride and not something you want to really show off, then they're an option for sure.

Went to one in Prairieville and got the 2nd tier paint job on a 00 Accord with serious oxidation and peeling. They were offering a special since they were just opening...think I was first car to be shot....very happy with the job they did and it's held up for the past year. Bought new headlight lenses on Amazon and the car looked pretty damn good for $850 investment.
They said if you're gonna flip the car within a year or so to get the 3rd tier paint job.

Post something in FB or CL ISO paint job. I found a guy who had a shade tree paint deal and he had a large butler building with a makeshift booth. I looked at a few of his finished products. Paint/buff job = great deal on it and happy with it.....

Spend $200 on some cans of Krylon and a case of beer, have some buddy over to help you frick it up. The next day the outcome will be the same but y'all would have had a good time!

Give it a "flat" paint job with plastidip. I think you can buy everything you need to do it yourself for 500 dollars. If you screw it up you can just peel it off and try again.

If you go through with it you should remove all trim that you don't want painted before delivering the car to them. Door Handles, moldings, grill, etc etc etc. Even if you splurge for the tape job it'll look like a 3 year old tried to tape the car.
