In contrast, a 15 minute commute would be 130 hours per year or just 5.4 days per year in your car commuting.
ETA:
So having a 15 minute commute instead of 2 hour commute saves you almost 40 days a year in time. That needs to be calculated into your salary AND into your quality of life.

Do you enjoy driving is the real question. My dad has gone 80 mins one way for most of his adult life. He enjoys the decompression time. He says it helps with the work life balance. He never came home stressed or bringing work with him because he had ample time driving home to let it go
