Not that we need it, but bad weather does nothing but help us this weekend.

Don't get me wrong, I truly believe this will be a very good weekend regardless of the weather. The main difference between sec schools and other conferences is depth. Especially pitching depth. If we have many delays, that means more pitchers will be used. That is bad news for the two small schools. Pitching depth will win this weekend and lsu has by far the best.
I do realize sometimes small school coaches abuse the shite out of pitchers arms(before someone says it).

Losing a start from Lange or Poche does not help us. Not when we've been known to struggle on offense vs lesser pitching.

Will pm claim poche starts then when we get 5" rain switch starting pitcher? Im honestly asking, will he change last minute depending on weather ?

How is this shitty weather good for lsu? It's not.

He's already said that he has a plan be if a storm cell is close prior to game time. Saw it on WAFB news tonight.

The real problem with delays that push back by days is that it starts to cut into the rest for your pitchers for the super regional

I explained how. Did you not read my post? I am fine if you disagree with me, but you literally asked the question I explained in my post. It's my opinion amd I hope it doesn't rain, but if it does it will make it that much easier.

It may help us slightly in a regional that we should win handily anyway. It will absolutely hurt us in the super regional, though. Overall it is a significant net negative for LSU.

Let's not over look the rag arm from Tulane that shut us down twice.

Hopefully he gives ole piss the same treatment

You're like one of those chicks that tries to convince herself that rain on her wedding day is good luck.

i'm not sure the rain helps anybody. if it does, i'm inclined to believe it helps the small schools. they will pitch their best guys not worrying about the super regional as they don't expect to be there anyway. and, depending on your point of view, they don't coddle their pitchers or worry as much about pitch counts. also, many people will go back with their starter after a rain delay; where that may not be preferable, it's not the end of the world.

If we have to rely on weather rather than talent to win and advance we aren't as good as I thought we were.

Talk about finding the silver lining.

The rain helped Stonybrook. Saw it with my own eyes.
