LSU vs Ole Miss for a National Seed

The SEC Network people seem to think that LSU and Ole Miss get National seeds as well as D-1 baseball.
Ole miss beat LSu twice. LSU finished ahead of Ole Miss in the regular season. LSu and Ole Miss both made it to the Semi Finals. Ole miss beat Georgia, South Carolina and Vandy, while Lsu beat Tennessee, Florida and Mississippi State. LSu lost 1-0 to Florida while Ole Miss lost 12-8 to Texas A&M.
LSu went 3 out of 5 against the #1 Florida Gators, while Ole Miss went 1 for 4 against the #2 ranked Texas A&M Aggies the last two weeks.
Pull for Florida tomorrow as a Gator win strengthens LSU's case for a National Seed.

Did Ole Miss have a winning record against in state teams?

Old Miss won't let the Trans pee in their bathrooms so they don't get a national seed.

So LSU had a harder SEC schedule and finished with a better SEC record

I asked Fitt and Rogers earlier and Fitt says it's LSU and om for 1 spot. May lean LSU, but he hasn't decided yet
Still waiting for Rogers input

I'm not going to complain about the seeding. If the SEC gets 4 Nat'l seeds, I'd like to think LSU will edge out OM,SC, and Vandy and other than Louisville and Miami, I'm not sure the teams in play in the ACC. If the seeding is fair the SEC might get 5, and the ACC would get 3, but the committee likes geographic diversity.

Texas Tech will get one because they won the Big 12. Even though their numbers really don't compare with the other contenders.

I predict we don't get a national seed, come in 9th, but we get pared with the weakest division- and that seed looses- we defacto get the super regional here.
It's happened once or twice already this way- and may actually work out in our favor in the end.
