Rangers thread got me thinking...
Tampa Bay
Oakland
Toronto?
Chicago White Sox?

Tampa Oakland and Toronto are really the only three
I've been to US Cellular and I liked it
The Angels stadium is getting up there in years. I've never been so I have no idea how much it's been renovated, but I could see that as another

Considering Coors Field is now the 3rd oldest in the NL, very few. Tampa and Oakland seem to be the only two urgently needing a replacement. Toronto could use one but Rogers Centre seems functional at least.

Yeah it's pretty amazing how many good stadiums there are right now. The cookie cutters are almost completely gone.

Seems like the Angels would get one here soon. 3rd or 4th oldest stadium in the game. I know it was renovated, but that was almost 20 years ago

Just Tampa Bay and Oakland.

TB and Oakland are the only two that need a new place.

Just Tampa Bay, honestly.
I love watching games in stadiums that have very unique qualities, and the coliseum in Oakland isn't falling apart or anything.
But Tropicana is an absolute dump and an embarrassment to baseball. It looks like their carpet of a field has AIDS.

When the time comes to finally replace those two I'm wondering how much of a shite storm those fan bases will throw

If they do it like the Yankees and essentially just rebuild it to fit today's standards then I doubt much would be seen

How much money did the Cubs spend renovating last year?

A big one. The only thing that would make the Cubs and Red Suxs fans accept a new stadium is Wrigley or Fenway literally falling apart.

I liked the old Yankee Stadium more after going to both

The old Yankee Stadium was better IMO. They should have just renovated it again.
They will just keep renovating Fenway and Wrigley. There isn't room in either of those cities (especially Boston) to recreate the central location. I was at Fenway a couple years ago and it was fine

Went twice before it was town down... was not impressed other than the history/nostalgia factor. The concourses were dark and small, and the whole place felt cramped. I haven't been to the new one to compare though.

Angel Stadium underwent a $120 million renovation in 1997. It's not exactly one of the best stadiums in baseball but it's still pretty nice.

See I didn't mind that, mainly because of the nostalgia and history.... New one doesn't have the same vibe in my opinion

Only ones I can think of are Tampa Bay and Oakland. Maybe Toronto too. But other than that, there are some very nice stadiums in the MLB.
