Thanks for the detailed reply. We heading there in mid June, so hopefully it'll be nice and toasty and the lake will be warmed up. And we all live in big cities and deal with a lot of noise, so we just like getting away to the mountains, water, quiet...really looking forward to it.
Is Bubba's the best BBQ place in the area?
If we wanted to do some fishing, what's our best bet? Live bait? Lures? What kind of fish? Would we be able to catch anything just fishing off the dock? My family has a lakehouse in northern Wisconsin and we can catch small panfish off the dock, but nothing of any real size.

Bubba's is great if you head to Eureka Springs. I enjoyed it, but I've only had it once.
If you head back towards the Rogers area, I think the best is Smokin' Joes, which is near downtown Rogers. If you want to venture further down Hwy 71B into Fayetteville, Whole Hog or Penguin Ed's is really good.
TBH, I haven't fish too much on Beaver Lake, so I wouldn't be a good resource on it. I imagine you'll have to venture out onto the lake to find bigger fish but I bet you can catch some off of the dock (I wouldn't expect any river monsters though).
It will be awesome in late June; good choice. The drive out there will be awesome and you'll certainly have some piece and quiet. Let me know if you have any more questions about places up and here and I'll let you know my thoughts/experience.

Definitely check out Hawksbill crag if you have time for hiking. Just google the pictures. It is amazing. Kings falls is pretty cool too. But hawksbill is my favorite. Twin falls is also close to the hawksbill crag area.
