I finally watched it and while I laughed it was definitely disappointing. It was a lot of rehashed material. His 19 and counting joke was literally the same joke he did for octomom. His bit about the benefits of 9-11 was funny but he has done similar jokes in the last. Of course you get your standard abortion joke, but it was pretty unoriginal compared to his older stuff.

I hate the way that he cushions every joke by saying "if this offends you....blah blah blah"

Just fricking tell the jokes.

His routine seems too influenced by Tosh.0 now too.

What would you see is his best standup performance? I've not really heard any of his stuff.

If in your standup you have to tell people what is a joke and that people should be laughing you usually suck.

I watched one of his stand ups and had to turn it off...it was not good.

but Tosh.O has some great episodes.

I couldn't finish it. I Don't need a comedian continually telling me he's edgy. I'll decide if your material is edgy and Tosh isn't.

FWIW I thought it was funny. I wanna know if he really walked out in New Orleans and talked shite about the saints.

I enjoyed it. He obviously is comfortable in his schtick and I'm fine with that. You can do it with any stand up comedian if you get too picky. Louis C.K. has dozens of bits about how fat and out of shape he is. Bill Burr trashes something about women and talks about the over population problem just about every special. They find a general theme and stick with it.

I'm watching the Patton Oswalt special right now and it is just a tire fire. I normally like his stuff but this is God awful. Very awkward. The crowd is not even into it.

I liked it a lot, much better than Happy Thoughts.

I laughed hard over his New Orleans story and at the thought of him telling the crowd he won't pander to them just because God gave their city a much needed bath.
