Wish I'd gotten into this thread sooner. I've just gotten in to bourbon, and finally found (hard to find in N. Miss.-Had to go to TN) some Blanton's. Great Stuff. Been sipping on some Eagle Rare and WL Weller (green) the past couple weeks, and I love both. Eagle Rare will be my new go-to. In the past, I've always just been satisfied with Makers, but finally grew up!
On Scotch, I've been sipping on Dalmore 12 and Auchentoshan 3-Wood. Highly recommend this.
For someone just starting the "Bourbon craze" and really likes Eagle Rare, what would y'all recommend that I try next??

Old forrester 1920 (GREAT juice)
IMHO, the best value in bourbon right now is 4R Barrel picks.. and it's not even close... I have 25-30 different Barrel picks from all around and enjoy every last one.
Other Barrel picks that can be very tasty are Elijah Craig, er10, Russell's reserve, and knob creek.
Pass on all that overpriced craft shite
