Had to bury my dog today

Hardest thing I have ever had to do. I had to bail my god damn tears out with a bucket before I put him in. He wasn't even 5. Never had a chance, he basically had no liver. Now daddy is about to destroy his. I miss my snuggle buddy. How do I post a fricking picture?

Very sorry about that. Been there many times. I miss them all and think often about dogs that have been gone many years. The only bad thing about dogs is that we outlive them.

Sorry to hear. We put my gf's 12 year old golden retriever down over last Christmas. Biggest lunk of lover ever. Never thought about getting another one but we did and she filled the void left by Fiona(RIP).

As a kid, we never had any pets. So when my wife and I were 25, we are now both 40, purchased a pet we purchased a pug who was the greatest fricking dog in the world.
She died last year, and I have never cried so hard in my life.

thanks, I uploaded to photobucket and pasted but it's just the url and not the pic. I'm sure I'm doing something wrong.

My dad put down our family dog a week ago. He rents and was in tears when the lady at the desk asked if we wanted to take him home to bury. I've been there
(We could've buried in him in the woods. We opted not to.)

yea I had to face that decision. It came down to money (wanted 400) but now I wish I would have just paid it. I will never get rid of that memory. I was already several hundred in and my emotions got the best of me. Note to all dog owners, it's gonna happen. Let somebody else handle it. I thought I could and i was wrong.

It's hard, but I promised her I would be with her all the way, and I was.
