Great show last night in Atlanta. The band was pretty high energy and the crowd was really into it. Axl sounded great and you could tell he was really into it. I thought it was really awesome watching him look around at the end of songs and seeing how big his eyes would get when he would see and hear how much the crowd was loving the show. It was almost like he was looking for approval after each song and then being thrilled when he got it.
Slash is just a badass and the epitome of a rock star and Richard Fortus compliments him well.
Duff sounded great. His backing vocals along with those of Melissa Reese complimented Axl's vocals perfectly!
I was skeptical of the drummer Frank going into the show, but he was really on last night. I have a completely different opinion of him now.
All in all it was one of the best concerts I've ever been to. I definitely got my monies worth. I was a little disappointed I didn't get to see the Cult, but that's because the T shirt and beer lines in the Georgia dome were insane. Between the two lines I probably spent an hour waiting before I ever got to my seat. For those going to the show in New Orleans this weekend, you are in for a treat.
