Spinoff: major plot holes in movies you've noticed

Spinoff from the Harry potter thread...
In the Santa Claus and other Christmas movies, since the parents don't believe in Santa claus, how do they explain the presents Santa leaves under the tree for them every year?
The scene in batman begins where he is hanging from the monorail... the rope he hangs from magically swings through the posts supporting the monorail tracks.
Others you've noticed?

In Jurassic Park, how does the Trex get into the museum without anybody noticing?

In Jurassic Park how does the area go from flat surface with a goat standing there to a huge cliff.

Isn't that pretty much what a cliff is?

Zoolander.
No way he could stop that Mugatu throwing star with Magnum.

The Joker was either a precog, or there are tons and tons of plot holes in his planning. Let me list them:
1) How did he know the exact time that the buses were coming by, and why didn't the bus behind him call the cops immediately instead of ignoring him.
2) How did the Joker know exactly how long the mayor's eulogy would go on for in order to set the timer to allow them the opportunity to kill the mayor?
3) How did the Joker know which street that the helicopter would go down and exactly how low the helicopter would be flying so that they could shoot it down? Seems awfully lucky he was passing down that street at that exact same height. Did the Joker just happen to have hundreds of people waiting on top of buildings in a 15 block radius just in case the helicopter happened to show?
4) When the Joker planted the bomb on his subordinate, how did he know he wouldn't be right next to the guy or if he was far enough away that he wouldn't blow himself up as well?
5) How did the Joker get hundreds of gallons of fuel and explosives into a hospital within 6 hours? I don't think he could have planned that Harvey would have survived with burns and done this days in advance. And even if he did, how does someone in a hospital not run into the explosives in that time?
6) Same for the boat, but I think they could hide that a lot easier than they could in a hospital.
Everyone always mentions the fact that the Joker is still upstairs when Batman is falling to the ground as the plot hole, but it's feasible Joker just immediately leaves then. Those are the bigger plot holes in my mind.

Beg to differ.
Magnum might have seen like a rip-off of Ferrari and LeTigre, but there were subtle differences.
But I agree with you in the general sense, no way Ferrari and LeTigre or even Blue Steel could have stopped that Ninja star.

Here's a major one I've noticed from the Matrix: In order for Cypher to have betrayed Morpheus and the others, he had to have had an accomplice, particularly Tank or Dozer. Cypher could not have uploaded himself to the Matrix and ratted them out without someone else knowing this. This is a clear plot hole if one of them isn't in on it.

In Avengers: Age of Ultron, Ultron is alive for about 7 days, kills no one, accomplishes nothing and no one knows who he is or why he's doing what he's doing other than the actual avengers. How it's his "age" is beyond me.
Iron Man 3 contains about 3 minutes of Iron Man, maybe that's why it got its name. In fact, Pepper Pots is the hero, and Iron Man isn't in the movie.
Man of Steel, a movie about the origins of Superman, the ultimate good guy all humanity should strive towards, has Superman watch his dad die, the Kent's are the worst parents ever, Lois Lane figures out his entire life and secret in a couple minutes, and he recklessly ruins people's lives for fun or immature spite.

"People will look to the skies and see hope... I'll take that from them first." No you didn't. No one had a clue who you were, and if you succeeded, the rest of the world wouldn't either. There was no time to take their hope away.
Ultron has to be the most disappointing and most falsely advertised villain in history.

You are probably right he needs an accomplice, but I don't think their ship (The Nebuchadnezzar) would have been the only one capable of logging into the Matrix, right?

Captain America himself in the Winter Soldier movie killed more people than Ultron did.
The Winter Soldier killed more people than Ultron did.
Loki, who remains the best and most well done villain in this Marvel Universe, killed more people than Ultron did.
Ultron didn't do shite. And I agree with you.
He should've escaped and killed a few thousand people while advertising his creation by Stark whole doing it. Would've set up Civil War perfectly.

They sure did make him badass in the trailers.
I thought that movie was going to be scary as shite, but nope.

The Nebuchadnezzar is always wired to the Matrix, remember when Neo walks in on him at night and he quickly changes a bunch of screens and jokes about seeing women? He might have been communicating with the Matrix and working out a plan for weeks or months before the betrayal. Then all he needed to do was meet once with an agent to confirm it all next time he was in there.

I'd make it a few million. I just have a hard time buying that Quicksilver and the Scarlet Witch were too stupid to see that Ultron was a genocidal maniac. I'd just have them be like their comic selves to start off, and then when they see Ultron do a good old fashioned genocide in Seoul and start identifying themselves with the children that Ultron is butchering, then it provides a logical point of change. Instead its just comical and ridiculous in the movie.

Ya maybe. They didn't really say if those screens were READ ONLY or not that I recall.

These aren't plot holes, they're just things you didn't like. And I agree with the dumbness of his dad in the tornado. Ugh.
