Are y'all watching the season as quickly as possible? I'm watching a few in a row but wanna make it last
I just finished the last episode, and I started yesterday. I couldn't put it down. The characters were great, the spacing was excellent, and the two main storylines were pretty good for a comicbook show.
I honestly didn't like season 1 has much as a lot of people did. I mean, there were some great episodes, but also a lot of slow burn to the season as well. Plus, I didn't like the "childish" aspect they gave to Fisk's character (he definitely wasn't the Fisk from the comics). But the season didn't suffer from any of that. They nailed the characters, and there wasn't any real slow burning episodes. I liked DD season 2 better than both season 1, and Jessica Jones (although Tennant may be the best villain ever in a comics movie). The only thing DD season 2 lacked was a great villain, but in the end it really didn't need one.

Admirable, but not the Netflix way

I liked the series UP until after the Frank Castle trials. It seem to flounder and meander on and turned Matt into a giant pussy afterward.
Also early one the whole ELektra angle was kind of boring when compare to the awesomeness that was the frank Castle trails.
One of the thing I don't get is that these people that Frank Castle killed were scums who also killed innocent people.
YET the one shout from a kid who was one of Frank Victim could potentially turned the tie? Like... are we suppose to sympathized with children of murderers?
Keep in mind up to date, Frank have yet to kill any innocent victim.
I do like how he challenged Matt ideology time and time again and when it was all over. Matt had no answer for Frank. None at all.
Matt fist really does nothing to stop crime, they just go in jail and take over there. He even got made a bitch in prison by the Kingpin.
The most interesting character for me was the growth of Foggy and KAren. I guess Matt best work was last season.

Spoilers for the entire season
I agree with that to an extent. I still enjoyed the second half of the season, but 1st half was definitely my preference.
I think what bugged me the most is they went through all this detail to gain your interest in the occult shite The Hand is doing only to completely push it to next season. (On that note - them not cremating Elektra's body is a shitty plot device. You have an organization which has shown to bring multiple people back to life. So you just bury the body of the key to their belief system and just expect that to be that.)
Other than that I loved all of the character developments throughout the remainder of the season. Besides Stick, Stick is terrible.

Oh and the general being the heroin dealer was ridiculous.

I watched it all yesterday. I thought it was better than season 2. I really can't find much to complain about other than I wish they could have gone more in depth with The Hand and what they were doing. Other than that I thought it was very much worth the wait.

Just like to say I love The Punisher and Jon Bernthal was a freaking amazing casting

Yes I think the Punisher might have steal this show. I mean had they had MAtt even showed UP for the trial of Frank Castle and do the defense it might have made it a Daredevil show. However he was playing that cat and mouse game with Elektra, infiltrating high society and all that crap.
So that part dragged and when they did get it, it wasn't even resolved. The General being the Heroin was a bunch of B.S Deus Ex Machina bits.
Then Matt letting his friend go which to me diminished his character. He acted like an asshat and began to become unlikable to me. I was pretty happy when Foggy and Karen left his arse for good.
The worse gaff is when Wilson Fisk owned his arse in Prison and he was all shaken up afterward. Like... really? You came in there, threaten him all big and bad and when you got punched you walk away shakily?
Punisher was right, Matt Method does not work with these twats. Wilson Fisk showed that.
Now call me crazy but anyone else felt that Punisher might have had some Chemistry with Karen?

I am 9 in and enjoying it. IMO, Daredevil and Punisher make a good pairing. I don't think it's any coincidence that they were the two franchises that had the most trouble on the big screen. Their stories are better suited for a series. Glad to see it is being well done. I prefer this to the Marvel movies.
I thought there would be a drop off when they brought in Elektra but I haven't been disappointed yet.
Any chance they being in Bullseye next season?

Please explain how the writers had written themselves into a corner and used an unexplainable plot device to escape said corner by planning the general to be the blacksmith the entire time.

While dragging his two colleagues into a shitshow legal case and barely doing any work on it.

Murdock is one of the most flawed characters in the Marvel Universe so I expect him to douche it up at times.
Hell, if they follow canon Karen ends up shooting porn.
